Getting the Perfect Fit

If you followed our size guide, most of your press-ons should fit. If just a few feel a little off, here's the quick fix.

A few feel too small

Every nail curves a little differently. If your nail is flatter than the press-on, the press-on is more arched, so the sides of your nail aren't covered completely. That's why it can look and feel too small.

  1. Warm the press-on with a hairdryer on low to medium heat for 10–15 seconds.
  2. While it's still warm, press it down to flatten it. It will sit slightly wider on your nail.

No hairdryer? Hold the press-on against the side of a glass of warm water until it softens slightly, then flatten it the same way.

Thumbs are the most common one, as they're often flatter than the other nails.

A few feel too big

If a press-on touches the skin at the sides, it can feel uncomfortable and lift early. A quick file makes it fit.

  1. Use a nail file to gently file down the sides.
  2. File a little at a time and check the fit as you go.
